Edge Service(s)

Edge Services are systems that live at the edge, or where data is physically produced, and interact with real world devices. You can think of these as Building Automation or IoT Devices. Some of these devices have cloud-based APIs that allow you build out interactions via an API, that is then pushed to the edge by the service, such as Pelican or Venstar. But the vast majority of our edge service devices run through Niagara.
